Darlington Family Dentistry, formerly Pure Brilliance Dentistry, welcomes Dr. John B. Early, Jr. back to his hometown. Dr. Early and his wife Taylor, also from Darlington, have pursued professional careers and have been living in Charleston for the last four years. John is a graduate of Clemson University and the Medical University of South Carolina.
“We are eager to return to our hometown and excited to be a part of the community again. We look forward to seeing all the familiar faces, as well as some new ones,” says John.
Dr. Early joins Dr. Bill Laney and the experienced staff at Darlington Family Dentistry. Dr. Laney, a Cheraw native, has more than 40 years of dental experience in all facets of dentistry. He was among the first graduating class at the Medical University of South Carolina and has mainly in practiced in Hartsville and Cheraw.
“I’ve sold my practice in Cheraw, and now I’m really looking forward to helping out here with Dr. Early,” says Bill.
Drs. Early and Laney are working from the same practice built by Darlington dentist Dr. Hubert Baker, who constructed the Cherry Street offices in 1967 with partner Dr. Robert Askins.
Retired now for about five years, Dr. Baker says he believes John will be a great asset to the city, bringing professional expertise and the latest dental techniques too.
“We’re just as excited as we can be about the fact that Dr. John Early, a hometown boy, has come back to Darlington,” says Dr. Baker. “I believe he’s going to be a great asset to the community.”
